Home Education at Quayside

Room to move.
Space to grow.

Bring movement into your home education week. Our Home Ed sessions give children a chance to explore gymnastics and trampolining, develop physical skills and enjoy being active alongside others.

A different kind of learning space

Some learning happens best when children are on the move. Balancing, bouncing and trying a new skill give them opportunities to practise coordination, concentration and perseverance.

Our daytime Home Ed sessions use gymnastics and trampoline equipment as part of a PE-style movement class. Instruction reflects the ages and abilities of the children attending, helping them build skills with encouragement from our coaching team.

It is a chance to make movement part of your week, meet other home-educating families and celebrate progress along the way.

Movement with more to discover

New skills, shared experiences and plenty of reasons to feel proud.

Physical skills

Gymnastics and trampolining offer opportunities to develop strength, balance, coordination and body awareness.

Growing confidence

Working towards a new skill helps children practise, persevere and recognise their own progress.

Learning together

A shared session gives home-educated children opportunities to meet others and enjoy movement together.

A place in your week

A daytime activity that brings variety, physical learning and a change of scenery to your home education routine.

Before your first session

Tell us your child’s age, their experience and anything that would help them feel comfortable. The team can talk through the session, confirm availability and help you decide whether it is a good fit.

Please check current session times and prices before attending.

What to wear

Choose comfortable sports clothing that allows your child to move freely. Joggers, leggings or sports shorts with a T-shirt are suitable. Bring socks for gymnastics and trampolining.

Tie long hair back and remove jewellery and watches. Avoid denim and clothing with belts, buckles, toggles or other fittings that could catch on equipment.

Ready to make movement part of your week?

Enquire about our Home Ed sessions and tell us a little about your child. The Quayside team will help with availability, session details and the next steps.
